Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid California Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based PT preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Adaptability and creativity in customizing interventions to individual student needs
  • Capacity to complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine students motor and functional abilities
  • Design and implement individualized therapy interventions to support classroom participation
  • Work directly with students, both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and caregivers to integrate strategies in daily routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
  • Offer guidance and resources to families and school staff to promote student success
