Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Minnesota required
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or general physical therapy highly desirable
- Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and diverse learning needs
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt strategies to serve various disabilities and age groups
- Effective time management and capacity for independent caseload oversight
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans addressing gross motor, balance, and mobility challenges
- Implement therapeutic interventions, adapting activities for diverse needs and grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy recommendations into the educational environment
- Document progress, maintain compliance with all state and district policies, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Travel among multiple school sites as assigned, supporting a broad caseload
