Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
  • Valid MN Physical Therapist license
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Skilled in evaluation, IEP development, and providing direct/consultative therapy services

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals in alignment with students IEPs
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions across assigned schools
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to facilitate optimal student outcomes
  • Document services, progress, and recommendations according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise related to student physical development and needs
