Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with school-aged children or in pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment programs
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress reporting, and educational documentation
- Enthusiasm for working within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations of students physical abilities related to their educational needs
- Develop and deliver customized therapy plans to help students achieve functional goals
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students progress
- Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate student records in compliance with school protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate student goals
- Offer training and guidance to staff on mobility and physical access accommodations
