Job Description

This school-based opportunity is perfect for a physical therapist who thrives working hands-on with children and values flexibility in their schedule. Youll be serving two campuses, engaging with students in early childhood programs and making a measurable difference in their educational experience.

This contract position runs through the end of the academic year and offers consistent hoursapprox. 22.5 each week across three days of your choosing (with the possibility of expanding to a fourth day after January). Youll be based on-site at both St. Louis and Jennings, working closely with committed educators and families to help children achieve their fullest potential.

What youll bring:

  • Current, active Missouri Physical Therapist (PT) license required
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desired
  • Enthusiasm for working with early childhood ages (PreK)
  • Commitment to a consistent schedule; flexibility in selecting workdays
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting and technology documentation

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing physical therapy services to PreK students, adapting interventions to meet varied needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Conducting assessments, maintaining accurate documentation, and monitoring progress
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to holistic student support plans
  • Traveling between two school locations
