Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Michigan
• Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs, goal writing, and progress reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility and compassion when working with students of varying abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students based on IEP goals and recommendations
• Assess students motor functioning and develop effective treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
• Document student progress, maintain compliance records, and prepare necessary reports
• Offer consultation and training to staff and family members as needed
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and encouraging school experience for all learners
