Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite Physical Therapist, working with K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time role provides maternity leave coverage, running from August 4, 2026, through December 18, 2026. Youll support students across all grade levels by delivering quality physical therapy interventions that help them excel both academically and physically.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Experience working with school-aged children or in an educational environment preferred
• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Collaborative spirit and a passion for helping children achieve their greatest potential

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess, evaluate, and develop treatment plans for students physical abilities and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and school district regulations
• Educate school staff and parents on student needs and adaptive strategies within the public school setting
