Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Michigan physical therapist license
• Experience in schools or pediatric therapy strongly preferred
• Adaptability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in group or one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate goals into the educational experience
• Support students development of motor skills, mobility, and functional independence in the school environment
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Provide resources and training to staff regarding mobility, equipment, and accommodations
