What Were Looking For:

• Valid Physical Therapy (PT) license in California
• Previous pediatric or school-based physical therapy experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process, documentation, and goal-setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
• Ability to conduct assessments and create individualized intervention plans
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently manage a caseload

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs and individual needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students physical strengths and areas of improvement
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including special education staff and families, to develop and implement treatment strategies
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate school staff and caregivers on safe practices and procedures for student mobility and equipment use
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on goals, and communicate regularly with families
