Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in California
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school environment

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Understanding of educational regulations and documentation standards for school-based therapy

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students needs for physical therapy services
• Develop and implement customized intervention plans to support student mobility, motor skills, and participation in school activities
• Monitor and record progress, adjusting plans as necessary based on ongoing assessment
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote student success
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insight for student support plans
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state guidelines
• Provide consultative services for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as needed
