Youll support both an elementary and a middle school near Round Lake, IL, providing essential therapy services just two days per week. Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a current Illinois Physical Therapist license
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare physical therapy settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities
- Adaptable and organized to travel between two nearby campuses as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students with diverse needs within elementary and middle school environments
- Collaborate with educators and other support staff to address students mobility and functional needs
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and maintain compliant documentation
- Guide staff and caregivers on supporting students physical development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
- Promote safety, independence, and overall well-being within school settings
