Job Description
A Physical Therapist opportunity is available within a supportive school district located in Wilmington, NC (Rocky Point area). This contract position offers the chance to work full-time, five days per week, providing services to students from PreK through 12th grade in a school-based setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina Physical Therapist License required
- Previous school-based physical therapy experience strongly preferred, but not mandatory
- Clinicians with a strong interest and passion for working with students in educational environments are encouraged to apply
- Commitment to serving children and contributing to their academic and physical development is essential
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse PreK-12 student population
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as appropriate
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive school environment
Location and Work Schedule:
- Position is based in Wilmington, NC (near Rocky Point)
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
