Desired Qualifications:

• Hold an active Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Illinois.
• Previous experience in either school-based or pediatric physical therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively partner with educators, families, and students.
• Ability to perform thorough evaluations, develop customized treatment plans, and contribute thoughtfully in IEP meetings.
• Dedication to supporting students functional independence and academic success.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services tailored to student IEP goals, adapting treatment to meet individual needs across diverse age groups.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings to help shape and review students individualized educational plans.
• Conduct evaluations to determine therapy needs and progress, documenting outcomes and collaborating with staff and families.
• Provide guidance and resources to school teams to help foster a positive, accessible learning environment.
