What You Bring:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy (required)
- Active Michigan physical therapist license
- Preferred background in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a range of age groups and developmental stages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working alongside students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational skills and a flexible attitude toward the unique demands of a school-based environment
What Youll Do:
- Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions to elementary, middle, and high school students, promoting better mobility and participation in the school environment
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress in compliance with all educational and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to student assessments and assist in the development of strategies to remove barriers to learning
- Stay current with best practices and advances in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
- Support a positive and inclusive school culture, ensuring services align with educational goals
