Located near the scenic area of Rising Sun, MD, youll work onsite, collaborating with a dedicated team focused on student growth and functional skill development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Maryland Physical Therapist license required
- Open to Clinical Fellows; ASHA Certification accepted
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred, though not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and design individualized physical therapy plans for elementary-age students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to integrate therapy into each students daily routine
- Document progress, maintaining compliance with state regulations and IEP guidelines
- Provide ongoing support, progress monitoring, and adaptive recommendations
- Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a motivating environment to encourage student engagement and achievement
