Step into a rewarding contract role serving K-12 students across multiple school locations in a dynamic, onsite position. This opportunity will have you working in a vibrant school environment near Rembert, SC, supporting students growth and mobility goals as an itinerant professional.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapy License (required)
- Experience providing PT services in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of best practices in PT for the K-12 population
- Ability to manage a flexible, multi-site caseload efficiently
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to the duration of the assignment from late July 2026 through late May 2027
- Reliable transportation to travel between assigned school sites
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering physical therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support student participation and access
- Traveling between multiple school sites as an itinerant PT to maximize student impact
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing clinical expertise to support student success
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
