Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing specialized physical therapy services for K-12 learners in a supportive school setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative educational environment near Jamestown, NY, just a short distance from Randolph.

Responsibilities include assessing student needs, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and tracking student progress. As a valued member of the school team, youll work with educators and families to support each students growth and access to learning.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid NY Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Prior experience with school-aged populations or in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work onsite one day per week (Monday through Friday schedule; 8:15am2:15pm)
  • Commitment to fostering student independence and participation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students based on IEPs
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school community
