The ideal candidate should have current licensure as a Physical Therapist and a preference for some previous experience within school settings. In this position, youll deliver therapy services, carry out assessments, and contribute your clinical judgment to student IEPs and progress monitoring. Youll also have a chance to use your supervisory skills overseeing at least one PTA, and your familiarity with classroom equipment will be valued. Experience or training in Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA) for PreK is a definite plus.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license
• Previous work in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Proficient in completing therapy evaluations, IEPs, LMNs, and documentation of progress
• Comfortable supervising PTA staff
• Knowledgeable about adaptive classroom equipment and supports
• Trained in TPBA PreK assessments or willingness to learn
• Committed to onsite work only

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services tailored to student needs
• Conduct evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and prepare documentation
• Monitor and record student progress toward therapy goals
• Supervise assigned PTAs within the district
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
