Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting
  • Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students onsite
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Design, implement, and monitor student-centered therapy interventions
  • Document progress, maintain compliance with district and state standards, and contribute to IEP development
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to maximize student participation in school activities
  • Support safe and accessible learning environments for students with physical impairments
