This full-time, onsite contract role will allow you to bring your expertise as a Physical Therapist to a supportive school community for the entire 2026-2027 academic year. With a workable caseload of 25-30 students, youll collaborate across the district, ensuring comprehensive care and personalized support to help each child achieve their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington State Physical Therapy license or willingness to obtain
- Must undergo fingerprinting with OSPI or be prepared to complete the process
- Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to providing onsite servicesthis is not a remote or virtual assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs
- Assess, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to promote a holistic approach to student achievement and participation
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state, federal, and district requirements
- Foster an inclusive, empowering environment supporting student mobility, access, and independence
