This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to make an impact in an itinerant caseload setting, working throughout the district with students ranging from kindergarten through high school. Youll be part of a district-wide support network that values professional development, with a structured one-year mentorship program and a dedicated contact to guide you throughout the duration of your assignment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license (required)
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric environment is valued
• Compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skills
• Commitment to collaborative service delivery and individualized care
• Ability to manage a varied, itinerant K-12 caseload

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to support student success and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and other service providers
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Travel between sites as needed to deliver services in multiple school buildings
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and accommodations
