Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Physical Therapist for a 12-week maternity leave in a dynamic school setting near Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This on-site only position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact during the first part of the new school year, with potential for an earlier summer start during the Extended School Year (dates to be confirmed).

Responsibilities include providing therapeutic PT services across various schools in the district, working with a diverse caseload (details to be confirmed), and collaborating closely with educators and allied professionals to promote student achievement and well-being. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) is ideal for those who thrive in an itinerant model and enjoy supporting multiple campuses as needs arise.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Active Florida DOH Physical Therapist licensure (required)
  • Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability to move between school sites as assigned
  • A collaborative approach, with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to support students across a range of ages and abilities
  • Willingness to complete required fingerprinting (AHCA Clearinghouse prints may expedite the process) and obtain a JLA badge prior to the assignment

This contract position spans from August 10, 2026, through October 30, 2026, with a possible earlier summer start.
