What were seeking:

• Completion of a Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Active and current Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Louisiana
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to design and adapt therapeutic strategies for a diverse K-12 population
• Strong communication skills to consult with educators, families, and other professionals
• Passion for fostering inclusion, independence, and growth in children and adolescents

Key responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver direct therapy to students as identified by IEPs and referrals
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support classroom performance and student participation
• Document assessment findings, progress notes, and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
• Educate families and staff on mobility supports, adaptive equipment, and strategies for improving students motor functioning
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities as needed
• Contribute your expertise to creating accessible, supportive learning environments
