Step into a dynamic contract role serving schools near Plainfield, IL as an in-person Physical Therapist. This is a part-time opportunity, spanning 2-3 days per week, with start and end times that shift based on school schedules (typically between 7:30 and 8:30am for start times). Youll work across several school locations, supporting diverse student populations from elementary through transition programs. Travel candidates are encouraged to apply, with the assignment running through June 7, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Holds either an MPT or DPT degree along with a current Illinois Physical Therapy License
• Preferred background includes school-based and/or significant pediatric experience
• Adaptable to working in both self-contained and general education settings
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills for managing daily documentation, progress reports, and updates

Responsibilities:

• Travel between assigned schools in Romeoville and Bolingbrook to deliver direct and consultative physical therapy
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students
• Provide training and guidance on the use of positioning and mobility equipment
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, nurses, and other school staff to support student success
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation as required
