Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Onsite Physical Therapist and provide essential support for a district-wide maternity leave coverage in a dynamic, inclusive school environment. This assignment runs from May 18, 2026, through June 25, 2026, offering the chance to impact students well-being and mobility across grades K22. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a 35-hour work week and a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily.

Your expertise in school-based physical therapy will be an essential resource for students requiring compassionate therapeutic services, allowing them to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. If youre interested in extending this period, theres an option to combine with an ESY PT assignment for added continuity and professional growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license in New York (please upload license and resume for consideration)
• Recent experience in a school-based PT setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a multidisciplinary educational team
• Familiarity with providing services for students ranging from kindergarten to young adults (K22)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite PT services based on IEP objectives for a diverse student caseload
• Assess students physical abilities, develop treatment plans, and execute interventions
• Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Educate staff and families on strategies to integrate therapy activities into daily routines
• Adhere to school and district policies while ensuring student safety and confidentiality
