Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in a K-12 or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
• Skilled at providing direct and indirect PT interventions in accordance with students IEPs
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptable, compassionate, and patient-centered mindset

Responsibilities:

• Complete assessments and evaluations to identify students needs and track progress
• Design and deliver targeted therapeutic activities and exercises during individual or group sessions
• Maintain thorough records in compliance with school guidelines and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student growth
• Train school staff and families in supporting PT recommendations for greater consistency
• Foster a safe and positive environment that encourages student achievement and participation
