Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid New Jersey Physical Therapist credentials
  • Experience working as a school-based Physical Therapist or in pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload, tailoring therapy plans to meet each students needs
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of IEP development and delivery in accordance with NJ state requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to K-12 students according to their IEP goals
  • Assess, document, and report on students progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Coordinate with educators, related service providers, and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with school and state standards
  • Support school-based initiatives that promote mobility, participation, and accessibility
