Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Physical Therapist license in Louisiana
- School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet the varied needs of elementary, middle, and high school students
- Superb communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other professionals
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility in managing a caseload across multiple grade levels
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans to address motor skills, mobility, and functional needs within the school environment
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy goals into students academic settings
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Provide guidance and education to staff and families regarding supports and appropriate accommodations for students
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary planning sessions as needed
