Job Description

Experience an impactful opportunity supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a Physical Therapist on a contract basis. Work closely with educators and students in a collaborative, diverse environment near Phoenix, AZ. Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona Physical Therapist license required
  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy or related field
  • Previous experience within a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility in working with students at various developmental stages

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students motor skills and physical capabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy interventions
  • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other professionals to support students goals
  • Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide consultation and training to staff regarding physical and motor development
  • Adapt activities to be accessible and inclusive of students with different abilities
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required
