Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Active Physical Therapist license in Arizona
• Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on student needs across different age groups
• Dedicated to fostering independence and confidence in students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students referred for physical therapy using a variety of assessment tools
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students in elementary, middle, and high school environments
• Work closely with educators and other service providers to integrate therapy into daily school routines
• Monitor student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide resources and education to school personnel and families as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment that empowers every student
