This full-time, onsite contract spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a chance to collaborate with passionate educators and make a significant impact on young learners lives.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with PreK through 8th grade students
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to team collaboration
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students physical needs and create individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct physical therapy services onsite to support students participation in educational activities
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom routines
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administrative personnel
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
