Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans for a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in PreK-8th grade, adapting methods to individual needs
- Conduct evaluations and provide detailed documentation to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student participation in school activities and routines
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on physical development concerns in the school community
