Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in PreK-8th grade, adapting methods to individual needs
  • Conduct evaluations and provide detailed documentation to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student participation in school activities and routines
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions to ensure optimal student outcomes
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on physical development concerns in the school community
