This full-time, onsite Physical Therapist position covers the academic year from August 3, 2026, to May 26, 2027, with the possibility of date adjustments. Based near Peoria, this role services a diverse PreK-8th grade population.
The focus is on delivering physical therapy interventions that foster students independence, mobility, and participation in school activities. Youll become an essential partner to educators, families, and fellow specialists, all working together to create positive outcomes for students.
What Youll Bring:
- Active PT license for the state
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience providing physical therapy in schools (preferred)
- Familiarity with needs of PreK-8th grade students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Motivated, adaptable, and empathetic approach
Your Daily Impact Will Include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized therapy plans
- Delivering direct and consultative services to students
- Collaborating with teachers, other therapists, and families
- Contributing to IEP meetings and documentation
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Supporting students in achieving their unique milestones
- Staying current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy
