Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Massachusetts
  • Eligibility for or possession of any required additional Massachusetts educational certifications
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for various age groups and physical needs
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Evaluate and assess student needs to develop appropriate therapy interventions
  • Maintain clear documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes
  • Consult and work closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Educate staff and families on recommended strategies and adaptive equipment as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and school district policies
