Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Assess students' physical abilities and needs within the educational environment
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans to help students succeed academically and physically
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to optimize student outcomes
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Educate students, staff, and families on strategies and adaptive equipment to support participation in school activities
- Provide training and support to school personnel for implementing therapy recommendations
