Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for making a difference in students academic achievement and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Provide therapy sessions, both individual and group, that encourage engagement and progress
- Record and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed for improvement
- Consult regularly with teachers, families, and staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Comply with all school policies, timelines, and documentation standards
