Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license issued by the state of Illinois
  • Experience providing physical therapy services in educational or healthcare settings, particularly with children and adolescents, is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and legal requirements within a school-based setting
  • Strong communication, documentation, and time management abilities
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students as prescribed in their IEPs
  • Complete thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, other therapists, school staff, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
  • Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to a supportive, inclusive school environment
