What Were Looking For:

  • Current Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Experience or strong interest in working with students in a K-12 setting
  • Passion for supporting diverse student needs, including those with physical and developmental challenges
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Commitment to onsite work within schools near Algonquin or Carpentersville

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting assessments to determine students motor skill development and mobility needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized physical therapy interventions in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student participation in school activities
  • Documenting progress, updating goals, and preparing required reports
  • Providing consultative support and in-service training to school staff where needed
  • Maintaining compliance with state and federal school regulations
