A Physical Therapist opportunity is available within a supportive school district environment in Oxnard, CA. This contract position focuses on delivering PT services in a school-based setting, providing care to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Candidates with a strong interest in school-based therapy will be considered, even if prior school experience is limited.
Qualifications:
- Active California Physical Therapist License is required
- Experience working in schools preferred but not mandatory
- Enthusiasm for working with the K12 student population in educational settings
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Location:
- Oxnard, CA (with potential services in nearby areas within the school district)
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and interventions to students across K12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Adapt therapy methods to support students' academic and physical development within the classroom and school environment
