Desired Qualifications:

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred

• Passion for fostering physical growth and overcoming mobility barriers in school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine their physical therapy needs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Develop individualized intervention plans to promote students physical functioning and independence
• Deliver direct therapy services and adapt activities to enhance student participation
• Consult and team up with teachers, families, and other specialists to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Document assessments, progress, and communications in compliance with regulations
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support students physical goals and safety
