Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and current PT license
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for facilitating students success
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine physical therapy needs and set individualized goals
- Provide direct therapy, modify activities, and consult with classroom staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support educational plans
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings
- Educate families and school staff about supporting student physical development
