Take on a rewarding role supporting students and staff through maternity leave coverage as an onsite Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is scheduled to begin in early September and conclude in early February, with standard weekday hours totaling 37.5 hours weekly.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Physical Therapist (PT) license required (must be provided with resume)
- Previous experience in a school-based PT setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a dynamic caseload (caseload details to be provided)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
- Candidate must be comfortable providing coverage for a maternity leave
Primary Duties:
- Deliver onsite physical therapy services to students, adhering to IEP goals and district guidelines
- Assess and reevaluate student progress, maintaining detailed records and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attending meetings as appropriate
- Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers and families on student therapy needs
- Adapt interventions and support plans based on ongoing evaluations
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student growth and development
