Job Description

A contract position is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to work within a K-12 school setting in Oregon, Illinois. This role focuses on supporting special education students during the Extended School Year (ESY), collaborating with special education staff to address Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct physical therapy services to K-12 students.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to individualized student plans.
  • Conducting evaluations to assess student progress and therapy needs.
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and education teams.
