Essential Qualifications:

• Active California Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both multidisciplinary teams and families
• Comfortable maintaining accurate and timely records
• Adaptable approach to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy interventions to students with a variety of physical challenges
• Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional recommendations to support student goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure the integration of therapy objectives within classroom activities
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Offer training and guidance to staff on positioning, mobility, and equipment usage for students as needed
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive therapy environment
