Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Current physical therapy license (or eligibility) in the state
  • Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other therapists
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for students with varied needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services and document student progress
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom adaptations and student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage with families to promote consistent support between school and home
