Job Description

Step into an impactful role dedicated to supporting K-12 students as a Physical Therapist on a contract assignment. Located near Olympia, WA, this position offers the opportunity to work onsite within a collaborative, educational environment. With a set schedule of 37.5 hours per weekand flexibility to consider part-time availability two to three days per weekthis assignment runs from January 4, 2027, through April 15, 2027.

You'll provide essential therapy services across two school sites, with a manageable caseload of approximately 44 students. A full-time Physical Therapist Assistant will be available to support you, ensuring continuity of care and shared responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Washington
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Genuine passion for empowering students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students, supporting their access to the educational curriculum
  • Collaborate closely with school teams, families, and other service providers
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment programs and document progress
  • Supervise activities of a full-time PTA assigned to the caseload
  • Maintain compliance with school and departmental guidelines
