Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity working with K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite-only contract position offers the chance to provide vital physical therapy services across a district-wide caseload of approximately 25-30 students. Youll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to help students reach their full potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold (or be eligible and willing to obtain) a current Washington State Physical Therapist license
  • Completed required fingerprinting through OSPI, or willing to complete the fingerprinting process prior to start
  • Experience providing physical therapy to K-12 students in a school environment is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple schools within the district
  • Commitment to working onsite; remote/virtual work is not offered for this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized physical therapy plans for students with varying needs
  • Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Document and communicate student progress in compliance with district and legal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and support educational staff with strategies and training
  • Travel within the school district to reach assigned student sites

This contract role runs the full school year (calendar dates pending release), with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours and a collaborative, student-focused environment. The schools are located in a supportive district near Olympia, offering a welcoming atmosphere for professionals passionate about making a difference.
