Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license
• Prior experience working with school-aged children or within an educational environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and related reporting
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans for a diverse student population
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement therapy programs tailored to students individual needs
• Deliver both direct and consultative physical therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
• Monitor progress and document student outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to promote optimal student performance and participation
• Educate staff and families on techniques and strategies to assist students physical development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations as needed
