Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Michigan physical therapist license in good standing
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to work with children and adolescents
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions to individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address motor skills, mobility, and access to the educational environment
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
• Document sessions, maintain records, and provide input during IEP meetings
• Consult with classroom staff on ways to adapt activities and environments for student needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and deliver staff training as requested
