Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Michigan physical therapist license in good standing
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred

• Creative problem-solver with flexibility to adapt interventions for various age groups

Responsibilities:

• Assess students motor skills, functional abilities, and needs within the educational environment
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each students unique needs
• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into classroom activities and routines
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings; contribute to reports and progress notes
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students physical development and independence
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
