Job Description

A Physical Therapist position is available in a school setting in Ocala, FL, offering a contract role focused on supporting the K-12 student population. This role involves delivering therapeutic services to help students improve mobility, function, and overall physical health within the educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress

  • Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress
  • Adhering to all regulatory, safety, and professional standards within the school setting

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license is required
  • Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Commitment to supporting the developmental goals of children and adolescents

Work Schedule:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 5 days per week, Monday through Friday
  • Services provided during the school year to support K-12 students
