A Physical Therapist position is available in a school setting in Ocala, FL, offering a contract role focused on supporting the K-12 student population. This role involves delivering therapeutic services to help students improve mobility, function, and overall physical health within the educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Implementing interventions that enhance physical abilities and promote participation in school activities
- Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Adhering to all regulatory, safety, and professional standards within the school setting
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license is required
- Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Commitment to supporting the developmental goals of children and adolescents
Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5 days per week, Monday through Friday
- Services provided during the school year to support K-12 students
